Mission Statement

The Caribbean Community Association (CCA) serves the Caribbean and other
communities in the Tampa Bay region and across the diaspora by promoting
international understanding through cultural, educational, entrepreneurial, health and humanitarian initiatives.

 

Goals and Objectives

CCA is committed to: (a) fostering cultural understanding within and beyond the
Caribbean community through the initiation and sustenance of cultural programs;
(b) developing and implementing educational programs that promote the cultures of
the Caribbean by supporting K-12, college and university students within the Tampa Bay
region through fundraising for scholarships, sponsorships, and humanitarian projects;
(c) functioning as an avenue for promoting and fostering networking among Caribbean
entrepreneurs and Caribbean families, friends and businesses via socialization,
exchanging of ideas and promotion of Caribbean business products and services; and (d)
educating and empowering the Caribbean community to make informed decisions
regarding healthcare, literacy, and immigration;

CCA partners with others in the community to accomplish the aforementioned goals and objectives. 

CCA meets monthly every third Friday at 7:00pm at Temple Terrace United Methodist Church 5030 E. Busch Blvd, Tampa Fl 33617
